Facebook has added many options to control and filter your friend list, photos, your profile etc. You have lots of options to control your profile’s privacy settings to control the visibility of different sections of your profile. Well now you can also choose who to show your Posts on Facebook. For the pages you admin, you can select the countries and places where people would be able to see a post.

After installing Wordpress 3.1, a user may find a lot of new options right out of the box but also find some things missing. Like, if you are fond of adding excerpts to your blog posts, you’ll instantly miss the text box for adding excerpt in the post area. You can enable this from the Screen Options.

How about automating this task; i.e. sharing any new post on your blog automatically to a group? With Networked Blogs application for Facebook, you can now automatically publish feed from your site to a Facebook group.

You can update your status on Twitter or Facebook easily through SMS. Wordpress.com has released a feature that lets you have a certain level of control on your blog via SMS. The newly launched Wordpress.com text messaging feature lets you manage your blog through SMS messages. So don’t worry if you don’t have a computer at your disposal for basic control over your Wordpress.com blog.
