Microsoft’s Autorun feature has been a boon for many users but hackers have also been using it to input malwares without user authorization. Microsoft will soon release an update that it calls an “important but Non-Security” update that will remove the Autorun feature in Windows.

On Windows, you can easily rearrange icons by moving them around. People prefer to have the icons that are frequently used towards the top. But some may hate the whole idea of rearranging icons with mouse drags. Sometimes, it can be a predicament too. For example you have a Zip file on your desktop and while arranging icons, if you happen to drag another icon onto the zip, the file gets zipped into the same Zip archive. This can be annoying and happens many a times. Here’s a trick that will keep the desktop icons from rearranging themselves on Windows.

Researchers at Technical University of Ilmenau in Germany created “Diminished Reality” which can stunningly remove objects from a video in real time and the results are great. Well it works this way: The software first reduces the resolution of the object and then removes the object from the selected area and then it improves the result and incrementally increases the resolution so as to match the quality of the original.
