How to find out the cache memory of your computer’s processor

The cache in your CPU is used to reduce the time to access the memory. While buying a computer, a general customer would just look at the specs like RAM, Hard Disk, Processor etc. but leave out on the cache memory because many people don’t know of its importance. While buying a desktop or a laptop, be sure to check if your system has ample cache memory. You can also check the cache memory that your system has. At the bottom, you’ll see the cache memory of your system listed as L1, L2 and L3 cache.  Generally cache memory is from 512Kb to a couple of MBs.
