According to a manager at Google, people watch TV at least for five hours on daily basis, so reaching out to those people is what they want by distributing their services. This would be a good means to have access to people wherever they are.
The only concern with this product, Google TV, is that it is coming from a company that is not all that experienced in dealing with consumers or is good with user-interface designs. It is feared that although the product has exemplary features but it might be a little complicated to operate for an average user. But it is expected that over some years the software would become a standard for all new TV sets. Here it is worth mentioning that also available in the market is a box from the manufacturer Logitech with the name of Revue that runs the Google TV software. The box comes with a fancy remote control and makes things extremely simple for internet TV users.
The fact of the matter is that though many people still think it’s a lot easier to watch different channels and shows on conventional TV sets, but you will soon see a majority of people moving towards internet TVs.
