While you chat with your friends on Gmail, you sometimes share links with them if you discover anything interesting on the web. Or maybe you’d like to share a newly released music video of your favorite artist on Youtube. Your friend will have to open the link, wait for the video to buffer and continuously switch between the video and the chat window. So, you tend to get annoyed at your friend’s delay in sending the message who would be busy watching the video.
Sensing this, the cognizant team of experts at Google Labs have added a new feature that will let you watch any Google or Youtube video right inside Gmail. So, when you send a link to any video, your friend will be able to see a preview of the video in his chat window and clicking on it will enable him to see the video right there. The video will open in a separate windows inside the Gmail interface and your friend can share messages with you and watch the video at the same time. You can also set some video options from the player. Isn’t that great?
So, next time, watch the Youtube videos sent via Gmail chat, right inside the interface of Gmail. Or if you want to watch a Youtube video in Gmail, send the video link to your friend and ask him to send it back.
