You might want to say good morning to all your followers in Twitter as soon as you wake up. Or you’d like to remind your friends of the league matches every weekend. But everytime you may not remember to do these. But do you know that that you can also schedule your tweets to be posted on a precise date and time? Sites like FutureTweets and Twuffer let you easily schedule your tweets like you schedule tasks on your PC.
FutureTweets is a great online utility for scheduling your tweets. You’ll need to sign up first for the service unlike many other third party twitter clients that let you login with your Twitter username and password. Once you sign up, you’ll need to provide your Twitter credentials, i.e. your Twitter username and password and you’ll be ready to roll on. To schedule your tweets, click on the Schedule tab. Now type in your tweet and set the publish date for it. Well I was totally impressed with the clock that lets you set the time of tweet by moving its hour and minute hands. Well you can manually enter the time as well. You can pick up a date from the calendar that pops up when you click the calendar button. Besides just scheduling tweets, FutureTweets gives you some interesting options like adding special characters and inverting text right away. If you want to tweet something at regular intervals like say Good Morning everyday to all your followers, you can set the Recurrence option to daily, weekly, monthly or yearly.
Twuffer also lets you schedule your tweets like FutureTweets. For this, you won’t need to sign up as you can directly login with your Twitter Username and Password. When you log in, you’ll see an input box where you can type your tweet. Type in the message, set a date for it to be posted and save it. You can set your time zone, preferred date and time format etc. from the Settings. You can also opt to show your tweets on Twuffer homepage. But FutureTweets has better options to schedule your tweets than this one.
So, schedule your tweets using these tools and send updates when you’re away from your computer or mobile.
