Playing an untuned guitar makes no sense, however great a musician you are. Tuning a guitar can be easy for professionals but can be a bit cheesy for noobs. Each note should be got right as a single ill-note can make the whole music awful. Well you can also tune your guitar online.

online guitar tuner

Tunemybass lets you tune a couple of instruments, four4-string bass, 5-string bass, 6-string bass, 7-string bass, 8-string bass, 6-string guitar, 7-string guitar. It also lets you choose from some tuning presets  besides standard tuning such as High C, 1/2 step-down, 1 step-down, Hi-1/2, Drop-D etc.

There are also some custom tuning options in this Online Guitar Tuner. Under the custom tuning tab, you can select the musical note for each string and then save it as your tuning preset. You can select the sound type for tuning too that are bass sound, guitar sound and sine wave.

Under the Online Tuner tab, you can find a funky guitar with strings that produce the original note on hovering mouse over the strings. You can tune your guitar by listening each of the notes and manually adjusting your guitar to match them.

Gleson Interactive also lets you tune guitar online. But there aren’t much options provided. You’ll see a nice guitar tuner with strings. One cool thing about this tool is that you can set delays between notes, i.e. you won’t need to click each string, you can just se the delay time after which the next note is played. It also provides an online metronome that can be found here.

Both of these Online guitar tuners are free and Flash based.
