Many viruses and malwares hit the digital world everyday giving rise to multiple problems for a wide range of peole. Some others are prevailing since long despite the strenuous efforts to eradicate them completely. INF Autorun is one such virus that has been prevalent for quite a while. Antivirus company ESET has made an analysis which says that INF/Autorun is the top ranking global and European Malware.
INF/Autorun Malware is at the top in the list of the most prevalent malwares in the list of ESET’s Global Threats according to ESET ThreatSense.Net (ESET’s In the Cloud Malware collection system). Second to it in the list is the Win32/Conficker worm followed by Win32/PSW Online, Win32/Sality, HTML/Startpage.NAE, JS/Redirector, HTML/iFrame.B, Win32/Autoit.
The Threats report in Europe alone according to ESET ThreatSense.Net also shows INF/Autorun in the top of the list. It is followed by HTML/StartPage.NAE, etc.
