Wordpress by default provides the option to import a blog from Blogger. It is very easy and can be accomplished by a few button clicks; that’s it. But in some hostings, an error is encountered due to the lack of secure connection. In such cases, the content should be first exported from and then imported to Wordpress. This process can take a bit longer but works perfectly for everyone.

Windows Phone 7 has a totally new and user-friendly interface and is smoothly integrated with other services. Applications for the Windows Phone 7 are currently being developed and applications for Twitter, eBay etc. are already available. Some more applications have been released, of which some are just demos.

Adobe has launched a new application called “Project Rome”. Project Rome is a content creation and publishing application for consumers, small businesses and educators. The tool is for users who don’t have technical knowledge in designing applications. Users can create rich multimedia content, websites, design and other stuff without the knowledge of desktop applications or say the Adobe Suite. Moreover, Project Rome is currently free for use.

Sorting emails containing documents, pictures or other files would be easier if they could be filtered into respective folders as soon as they reach your inbox. Using Gmail Filters, you can filter emails containing documents into a “Documents” folder, the ones containing pictures to “Images” folder and the like, making it easier for you to search through them.

You must have seen slow motion scenes on movies where an action taking place very fast is shown in slow motion. Slow motion techniques are employed in movies off and on. Actually in a slow motion video, a bunch of images are captured very fast—at least 120 images per second, and often 300 or more and then played back at the speed that your eye can grasp. Researchers at Technical University of Ilmenau in Germany created “Diminished Reality” which can stunningly remove objects from a video in real time and the results are great. Well it works this way: The software first reduces the resolution of the object and then removes the object from the selected area and then it improves the result and incrementally increases the resolution so as to match the quality of the original.

Sometimes you need to delete the cookies from selected sites or from a single site to clear specific preferences without deleting all Browser Cookies. You can do this through a little workaround with Firefox Options or by using Remove Cookies for Site addon for Firefox.
